What this system is for
Response that is purely reactive is always behind the event. This system applies machine learning to historical and live data to forecast how a situation will develop and where need will emerge next — including where air ambulances are likely to be required.
Forecasts are presented with their uncertainty attached. A prediction offered without a confidence range invites the sort of false precision that costs credibility the first time it is wrong.
Predictive output is advisory. It shapes pre-positioning and standby posture; it does not autonomously commit resources.
