An organisation with clinicians at the centre of it
Cad Care RISE is a Division of Cad Care Aid Foundation — a non-profit organisation working in association with Cad Care Inc USA, promoting preventive and community healthcare across India through the Ayushman Bharat Health Mission. CAD CARE stands for Resilience and Inclusive Solutions for Emergencies.
The Division exists to build one thing: the system that links an individual in an emergency to the hospitals, blood banks and ambulances that can help them. It is in development and has not launched.
The composition matters. Four of the seven founders are doctors. More than three hundred medical professionals and more than twenty-five IT professionals are associated with the work, alongside more than fifteen research organisations. A disaster platform designed only by technologists tends to optimise for things that are easy to measure rather than things that determine whether someone lives.
The Foundation, its rural health and school health programmes, and its community work are at www.aid.cad.care. This site covers the platform itself.
