EPIC Programme — IIDHP

Effective Practice Incentive Community — healthcare quality improvement delivered through the Integrated & Interoperable Digital Health Profile, a lifetime-valid record with annual review.

Purpose

The record between the emergencies

Where RISE answers the moment of crisis, EPIC builds the picture that makes care better in the years around it. An annual EPIC health profile monitors a child's growth and development and identifies potential health issues that may require attention, drawing on medical history, current status, family history of illness, and any medications or supplements.

The proposal is careful about the distinction: EPIC is optional but advised, conducted annually. RISE is essential. That ordering is clinically and ethically right — the emergency profile protects a child whether or not anyone opts into the longitudinal one.

  • Early identification of health issues. Regular check-ups and a complete profile catch problems early, improving the chances of successful treatment and management.
  • Monitoring growth and development. Height, weight and other vital signs tracked over time rather than sampled once.
  • Personalised healthcare. Information about a child's unique health needs, guiding recommendations and treatment.
  • Long-term health management. A baseline and a roadmap, including preventive measures and ongoing care.

What EPIC also produces

Beyond the individual record

The proposal commits to more than a per-child file. It describes a lifetime-valid digital health profile with a digital health card, an annual disease statistical report, and personal health cloud access — alongside a universal health card carrying QR and NFC.

The statistical report is the part that connects EPIC to the platform's analytics systems. An annual, structured, school-wide dataset is exactly the input that MOD-1.3 Data Analysis and MOD-5.1 Trend Analysis are built to work on — and the baseline against which an epidemic signal becomes detectable.
