MOD-5.3 · PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS SYSTEM

Disaster Progression Simulation

Models plausible developments — flood extension, aftershock, disease spread, secondary displacement — so plans can be stress-tested before they are needed.

Module 5.3

Capability

  • Scenario modelling with adjustable assumptions.
  • Impact estimation on infrastructure, access routes and landing zones.
  • Contingency triggers that link a scenario to a prepared response.
  • Exportable scenario briefs for planning and exercises.
Context

Within the system

Disaster Progression Simulation is module 5.3 of Predictive Analytics System, which moves the platform from reacting to a disaster to anticipating its next phase.

Response that is purely reactive is always behind the event. This system applies machine learning to historical and live data to forecast how a situation will develop and where need will emerge next — including where air ambulances are likely to be required.
