MOD-6.2 · SECURITY SYSTEM

User Authentication

Establishes who a user is and constrains what they can reach, with credentials that survive a chaotic operating environment.

Module 6.2

Capability

  • Multi-factor authentication with offline-capable fallback for field conditions.
  • Role-based access control scoped by geography and incident.
  • Rapid provisioning and, critically, rapid revocation for surge staff.
  • Session controls tuned to shared-device realities in the field.
Context

Within the system

User Authentication is module 6.2 of Security System, which protects people who are already vulnerable from a second harm — the misuse of their own data.

The platform holds location, health and household data about people at their most exposed. Security here is not a compliance exercise; it is a safeguarding obligation, and it is built into the data model rather than applied around it.
